We must never forget why we are who we are as Children of God.
We must never fail to remember on whose account we have received the best gift in the whole history of mankind. "Salvation"
We must not forget for whose sake we now have the right to approach the Throne of The Most High God!
We mustn't forget that day in history, when the veil was torn into two in the temple, when the earth shook violently and men, women and children trembled in fear and astonishment as the heavens and nature turned gloomy and dark.
We must never forget the statement "it is finished" that proceeded out of the mouth of The Lamb; The Son of God. We mustn't forget the suffering He bore upon Himself for you and I. We must remember everyday of our lives what that singular act did for us. How we came to be free from death, sin, shame, reproach, sickness, pity, worry, anxiety, poverty and every other vile thing we can think of in life.
We must remember The Cross of Calvary. For on it was our salvation sealed. On it Jesus Christ of Nazareth died and reconciled us back to God The Father. Before then we were in sin, in captivity. We knew God as just our Creator! We were never His children! But alas that changed on that wonderful day when His son died.
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing or whoever you are with? Let's not forget The Cross of Calvary. The bloody and gory Cross for it is our symbol of Hope, Faith, Love and most importantly Salvation.
