Sunday Brunch. Mathew 4:4.

God's gift to men through Jesus Christ.

This is the sermon that was preached by my Pastor today. The bible says Man shall not live by bread alone and its important that we as Children of God do all we can to make sure we are feeding from Him daily.
The main text was from Ephesians 4:7-10.
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says:
“When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”[a]
(Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first[b]descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
Here we see that Jesus gave gifts to men. Oh Dear Christian doesn't that give you joy? Our Savior ascended on high and did so with gifts to men!!! Oh Glory to The Lord God Almighty for His generosity!! What are these gifts the bible talks about? Some of them include;

1. The greatest gift that God gave to human being is His only begotten son. There is no doubt that Jesus Christ remains the best gift that God gave to the world.

2. Eternal life. John 3:16.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

3. Everlasting Name to His people. Isaiah 56:4-5
For thus says the Lord:
“To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths,
And choose what pleases Me,
And hold fast My covenant,
Even to them I will give in My house
And within My walls a place and a name
Better than that of sons and daughters;
I will give them[a] an everlasting name
That shall not be cut off.
“Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant—

4. Spiritual Knowledge. Jeremiah 24:7.
Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

5. New heart. Eziekel 11:19.

6. Spiritual Rest.  Mathew 11:28.
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

7. Holy Spirit. Luke 11:13.
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
8. Spiritual Crown. Revelations 2:10.
10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

9. Legacy of Peace. Romans 5:1.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have[a] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

10. Keys of The Kingdom. Matthew 16:19.
Key here represents power and authority. It means access, solution, unlimitation. This is the believers authority.

11. Power over evil spirit. Luke 10:19.
19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

12. Living water. John 4:14.
13. Bread of heaven. John 6:51, Psalm 136:25.
