Taking risks.

As Christians we must learn how to take risks. As children of God, we usually see things with the eyes of faith. We walk by faith and not by sight. The bible defines faith as substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen.

What does this mean? That  we must have faith in God no matter the situation we are in. We must learn to take risks. Let's look at the life of Abraham, our great father. He took a lot of risks with God. You might ask how and when?

Remember when God told him to leave haran? His mother land for a strange new place? The bible did not say that Abraham asked God questions. He obeyed immediately! Also remember genesis 12? That was where God asked him to sacrifice Issac; and guess what? He obeyed! He took a risk with God! He had faith in his creator and he got his reward in the end!

We must learn to take risks with God when it is time to do so. We must give up our deepest fears and take the step that God is asking us to take. Don't fear! God is more than able to see you through! Just trust him!
